Guided by the strategy of design-driven industrial transformation and upgrading and innovation-driven development, the Innovation Field actively promotes school-enterprise cooperation and sets up a sustainable development model combining production, learning and research. The Innovation Field carries out in-depth cooperation projects with Autodesk, Alibaba, Tencent, Haier, CRRC Corporation, SAIC, Aston Martin, BMW, Dyson, ECOVACS, Shenzhen WorldUnion Properties Consultancy Incorporated, Shenzhen Academy of Construction Sciences, Vanke, Uniqlo, Huawei, Siemens and other industry leaders, research institutions and universities, in various forms such as joint laboratories or joint research projects.  Through inviting enterprise personnel to participate in the formulation of training programs, lectures in joint courses, engineering lectures, internships in enterprises, joint guidance of graduation design (thesis), and guidance of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects, establishing multiple modes and management mechanisms for in-depth cooperation between universities and enterprises in the process of talent training helps greatly enhance students’ awareness and practical skills in engineering. Cooperation with industries and enterprises effectively promotes industry-university-research and helps upgrade industries through industrial practice, while enhancing the educational, economic and social effects of experimental teaching.
