2019年11月,全球Fab Foundation正式确认中国“数制”工坊“FABO Academy X | 中国智造学术X”作为全球第一个授权,并落地中国的唯一课程,未来在师资培训、线上线下双师的教学模式上FABLAB O和Fab Foundation全球导师达成全面合作!

 

In November 2019, the global Fab Foundation officially confirmed that “FABO Academy X" course that developed by FABO as the world's first authorized program that also only one in China. FABLAB O and the Fab Foundation will make comprehensive cooperate in the future teachers tranning, online and offline students evaluations, and etc.

 

What is Sustainable Development Goals?

什么是联合国可持续发展目标?

 

Based on the 17 goals of the UN's sustainable development, FABLAB O  has created suitable and corresponding high-tech STEAM courses with the theme of “Creation Enlightenment”, “Exploring the World” and “Go For Dreams”for kids in different age. These creative courses are designed to develop global leaders who are ambitious and care for others. They will lead students to challenge world issues through the Project-Based Learning approach that motivates their inner-driven force to learn, so as to fully utilize their potential.

 

基于联合国可持续发展的17个目标,FABLAB O|中国“数制”工坊开创高科技STEAM课,以“创造启蒙”、“探索世界”和“追寻梦想”为大主题,为不同年龄知识阶段的学生提供相匹配的系列创意课程,旨在培养关照他人、胸怀世界的全球领袖,通过最能够激发学生学习内驱力的项目式学习Project-Based Learning教学方法,带领学生挑战世界性议题,发挥最大潜力。

During this process, students will think about how to make the world a better place by reflecting on their living environment and the living conditions of the earth, and helping the UN in realizing the sustainable development goals by offering solutions and creating products.

 

在此过程中,学生以自身生存环境和地球的生存状态为思考对象,思考如何让世界变得更美好,通过创造解决方案和产品助力联合国SDG可持续发展目标。

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is a series of new development goals, including 17 sustainable development goals, such as industrial innovation, infrastructure, sustainable cities and communities, which will continue to guide the global development work after the Millennium Development Goal expires. It is aiming at completely solving three development problems of the society, economy and environment in an integrated way and finally turning to the path of sustainable development.

 

联合国可持续发展目标(Sustainable Development Goals 简称:SDG)是一系列新的发展目标,包括17个可持续发展目标,如工业、创新和基础设施、可持续城市和社区等,将在千年发展目标到期之后继续指导全球发展工作,旨在以综合方式彻底解决社会、经济和环境三个维度的发展问题,转向可持续发展道路。

 

What is FABO Academy X China? 

什么是中国“智造学术X”?

Fablab O Shanghai’s “Fabo X Academy China”, is a modular course about digital manufacturing and rapid prototyping. The course is based on MIT’s “How to Make (Almost) Anything” course and the Fab Academy global seminar. Fablab O has been iterating its Fabo X Academy for many years through experience teaching collaborations with schools and universities, cooperating with institutions implementing fab labs, its Fabo X Academy one week seminar, hosting digital fabrication competitions, and numerous symposiums. 

 

Fablab O Shanghai / 中国“数制”工坊的“ Fabo Academy X China / 中国智造学术X”是一个数字化制造及快速成型技术的课程。该课程基于麻省理工学院“How to Make (Almost) Anything / 如何制造万物”课程和FabAcademy的全球课程。Fablab O通过与全球其他fablab以及各高校合作的经验,还有主办数字化制造竞赛和众多的研讨会,一直在更新迭代“中国智造学术X”的课程。

2018年10月,尼尔·格申斐尔德(Neil Gershenfeld)教授在南京出席<2018 世界智能制造大会>, 会同Fablab O|中国“数制”工坊打造 < 中国智造集群>网络平台及课程。同时Neil教授和中国数制工坊创始人丁峻峰教授给第一批成立的中国数制工坊做了授牌仪式。

2019年11月2日,“从STEM到STEAM,以‘A’引领科创教育的构架及机制设计”国际峰会暨中国“数制”工坊第二次会议在上海同济大学设计创意学院隆重召开。Fab基金会首席信息官、Fab Academy全球数制学术课程项目负责人Fiore Basile代表Fab Academy与同济大学设计创意学院FABLAB O|“数制”工坊创始人丁峻峰老师举行了签名授权仪式,对Fablab O中国数制工坊的本地开发的课程FABO X表达了官方的认可,正式确认FABO Academy X成为全球第一个授权落地本土化课程,未来在师资培训、线上线下双师的教学模式上FABLAB O和Fab Foundation全球导师达成全面合作。

Do you want to apply for an university abroad? A wonderful Portfolio is needed except for higher English scores. Take two high school students for examples, Yihang Xu and Zeping Lu, Fablab core members with professional skills and innovative thinking, they learned from the FABO X curriculum, both have already obtained their favorite University Offers. Gordon - Xu Yihang was admitted to the University of Rochester, one of the members of the World University League, studying to dual degrees in Electronics and Computer Engineering and Economics. Zeping Lu entered the University of Illinois, known as the "Public Ivy", proceed to the degree of electrical engineering and biology. Lu’s assist experience of Biobuildlab establishment in Fablab O added color to his further study in the United States!

Graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Painting

Orbit-in flux is a device that allows you to study changes at your desired pace. I am using a planetary gear system, with two small gears of the same size orbiting each other around the center gear, which is activated by a stepper motor. The potentiometer can control how fast the stepper motor moves. The structure is divided into three parts, gear platform, led and zoom lens mounting panels and the shell. Parts that use wood are the ones that expects more drilling and changes to the material state after laser cutting, since acrylic cracks easily with reworking. Laser-cut modules are attached onto two gears. This system allows me to customize any shape I need with the laser cutter. The state of a circle is reshapd every second, the amount of color that is seen in the screen shifts constantly.These fluxes speak metaphorically to human relationships in every day life, which is what interests me in my explorations.

Inspired by the principle and machanics of the Oramics Machine, I will design a drawing music instrument that allows user to draw graphics by freehand as input and have instrument produce sound accordingly.

For my final project I've decided to design an entrance/exit system for our cat Mirruñis to go in and out from home.

Throughout the course I will be updating this page and maybe adding or removing features to the door system.

Work in the financial industry in the company originated from Russia

I came up with the idea of a portable vaporizer for medical herbs. The portable vaporizer will allow consuming herbals in a discreet way without being noticeable from other people. 

The consumers of the tool are the people that use marijuana for medical purposes. 

The vaporizer is not my invention. However, I see some potential for improving the usability of such tools. For example, my vaporizer will allow the person to chose the mode of vape production. There are two major ways of vape production: convection heating of the substance and conduction heating. Most of the portable vaporizers support only one mode.

MECHANICAL AND MACHINE DESIGN

机械与机械设计

Introduction to mechanical design with an overview over the most common techniques and tools used to drive a machine. Each student will assemble the structure of a vertical two axis machine with two stepper motors and test its operation.

MOTORS CONTROL SYSTEM

The electronic control system will be assembled by the students and connected to the machine. They will use the computer to move the machine using Gcode commands.

PROGRAMMING AND DESIGN GENERATION

Each group will learn how to digitize hand-drawing and how to use design software to generate the machine movements. They will design a final project and the machine will draw it.

Complete the drawings and assemble the class project composed of all the pieces that were created by the groups. Present your final project and the class project in a public event.

同济大学设计创意学院副教授

同济大学环境设计专业副主任

毕业于哈佛大学,并取得哈佛大学设计学和爱荷华建筑学双硕士学位。一直从事数字化设计(参数化)和数字化建构的教学研究和实践。编译出版和发表了多篇参数化设计相关文章。并参加国内外多场参数化前沿国际论坛和数字化构造与艺术装置展览。在美国麻省理工大学、同济大学Fablab实验室的全球课程基础上,丁教授带领团队开发出完整覆盖K12-大学的适合中国学生的STEAM 课程体系。

Saverio Silli | 西萨维(意大利)

Fablab O|中国“数制”工坊课程国际导师、同济大学设计创意学院研究助理、罗马建筑学院联盟成员、Fabricademy |全球织造学术课程毕业生、Fab Academy |全球智造学术课程毕业生、全球FAB Academy亚洲区域指导教师。2015年全球Fab Academy课程毕业生; 建筑师、产品设计师和数字制造专家,并曾担任法国巴黎Fablab实验室课程主任,意大利罗马创客嘉年华(MakerFaire)项目负责人。

Fablab O|中国“数制”工坊课程导师;2019年全球FAB Academy课程毕业生。欧洲设计大学首饰设计专业,曾在国内某知名设计公司担任珠宝设计师。同时她拥有多年运营XinFAB的经验,担任空间运营管理、3D打印、镭射切割等工作坊的重要工作,具有多年一线STEAM教育和培训经验。

刘晓飞 | Flavie Liu

Fablab O|中国“数制”工坊 课程导师、2019年全球FAB Academy课程毕业生、摄影师、独立出版人、加州艺术学院平面设计和摄影学士。作品曾在旧金山、奥克兰等地展出。在科技教育领域,具有丰富的STEAM课程研发经验,研发过多门STEAM PBL项目式学习课程,致力于开发出艺术与技术结合的STEAM课程。

Fablab O| 中国“数制”工坊 课程导师;全球FAB Academy毕业生。曾任职于莱茵瓦尔大学、ISIS IC GmbH–创新中心,有着扎实且丰富的一线教学、培训的实战经验。曾担任某知名机器人项目负责人兼软件工程师,在编程、测试、原型制作等方面有着极强的研发和创新能力。授课风格生动活泼,知识面广。

 

WORLDWIDE BACKGROUND

FABLAB的全球背景

Fab Lab(Fabrication Laboratory)是当今全世界最具有创造力的美国麻省理工学院(Massachusetts Institute of Technology,MIT)的媒体实验室(Media Lab)下面的比特和原子研究中心(Center for Bits and Atoms,CBA)发起的一项新颖的实验——一个拥有几乎可以制造任何产品和工具(Make Almost Anything)的小型工厂。

尼尔·哥申菲尔德(Neil Gershenfeld)教授在2002年建立的第一个 FABLAB实验室,配置数字化制造和成形桌面设备系统的实验室,让不同背景和专业的同学可以协同跨界,选修课程系统为学生教授从设计建模,电子PCB, 数字制造,编程,网络端口等一系列互 联网的新课程体系,将构思和想法变为现实。

在过去的多年中, Fablab实验室联通课程在全世界迅速蔓延开来,现在全球有1000多家这样的实验室。全世界的学生们可以通过整个FabLab网络中(如视频会议)进行学习和共享。

2018年10月12号,美国麻省理工学院MIT教授,比特与原子研究中心(CBA)主任;全球“数制”工坊创始人尼尔·格申斐尔德(Neil Gershenfeld)教授应邀参加<2018 世界智能制造大会/2018 world intelligent manufacturing summit> 。FABO中国数制工坊会同同济大学,上海科技大学,南京大学,东南大学,南京理工大学,南京艺术学院,南京信息职业技术学院,湖南机电职业学院,常州机电职业技术学院,上海市格致中学,上海市同济黄浦设计创意中学,上海行知中学,苏州工业园区领科海外教育学校等学校相关部门领导,老师举行“智造”沙龙,并就成立平台搭建及构架做了前期会议,并确定同济大学中国数制工坊开拓的FABO Academy X | 中国“智造”学术将成为以M IT的数制工坊为核心的国际网络课程在中国本土化的课程框架。
